Abstract: The authors of this article use three analytical models in order to test whether there is a military rivalry between Greece and Turkey. They argue that their empirical findings do not support the view that there is an arms race between Greece and Turkey. Part of the econometric school of study of the post-1945 Greek-Turkish military expenditure and possible arms racing.
