Abstract: The authors of this paper aim at forecasting the burden on the Greek economy resulting from the arms race against Turkey. They seek to do so by concentrating on the leading determinants of this burden using the method of artificial neural networks. Part of the econometric school of study of the post-1945 Greek-Turkish military expenditure and possible arms racing.
