
Andreas Lioumpas
Andreas Lioumpas is a Cultural Historian with a Master's in International Relations, and a Ph.D. candidate at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.
He specializes in the Cultural Theory of International Relations and Strategic Analysis. His primary research field is the influence of cultural and historical factors on the formation of national grand strategies. He has presented research papers in several academic conferences he has contributed with a chapter on cultural diplomacy in an edited volume. He recently participated in a two-year EU-funded research program as a researcher.
Currently, he works as a researcher and writer in Army History Directorate, focusing on the history of the contribution of the Greek Force in Afghanistan to the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF). He is also the Head of the Military History Group at the Institute of International Relations of Panteion University.
