
Dr. Ioannis Nioutsikos
Dr. Ioannis Nioutsikos is Postdoctoral Researcher - H.F.R.I. Fellow at the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the University of the Peloponnese and the Principal Investigator of the research project “Competitive Arming and Militarised Disputes: A Case Study of Greece and Turkey from 1833 to Present” (ARCADE). He earned his Ph.D. in War Studies from King’s College London, and he also holds an MSc in International Business and Management from Manchester Business School and a BA in International and European Studies from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. Dr. Nioutsikos has been Head of the Military History Research Group at the Institute of International Relations of Panteion University, and he has conducted postdoctoral research at the University of the Peloponnese having received a grant from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY). Dr. Nioutsikos has taught at King’s College London, at the Hellenic Open University and at the University of Piraeus, and he is an Associate Fellow of the United Kingdom Higher Education Academy. His research has been published with academic publishers such as Routledge and his articles have appeared in journals such as Mars & Clio, The International Journal of Historical Learning, Teaching and Research, and Südosteuropa Journal for Politics and Society.
